Javasatu, Malang – There is an ambrol bridge on Jalan Bandulan Raya, Sukun District, Malang City, it is known that the bridge connects Bandulan Village with Mulyorejo Village as an alternative route.
Reported from Nusadaily group, the bridge took halfway and almost access between the two villages was broken.
One of the residents, Yasin revealed, the incident is known to have occurred on Tuesday (12/1/2021) at about 14:30 Wib.
"It happened yesterday, when it was raining heavily. This bridge is suddenly ambrol" explained him, Wednesday (13/1/2021) morning.
Yasin explained that the alternative bridge that connects between Bandulan and Mulyorejo is ambrol because the water discharge around the river overflows due to heavy rains.
"Because the rain was too heavy yesterday, finally ambrol. It's not usually that rich. Only this time it is rich gini, because the water is too overflowing to the top of the bridge" he explained.
Yasin added that in addition to creating alternative bridges ambrol, the discharge of overflowing water also resulted in flooding.
"The water had risen, about a meter, the bathroom around the river sank. In addition to causing flooding and bridges ambrol, heavy rains also caused landslides in the Bandulan area" he concluded. (ND/JS)
