Javasatu, Sidoarjo- After a 3-day production strike from January 1 to 3, 2021, tempeh tofu producers in Sidoarjo Regency began production again.
Known, the producers know tempeh production strike due to the increase in the price of soybean raw materials from the previous price of Rp 7 thousand to Ep 9 thousand perkilogramnya.
Revealed, Muhammad Farid, Producer of tempeh tofu from Sepande Village Sidoarjo Regency, due to the increase in the price of raw materials, it was forced to raise the selling price to retailers.
"If from us as a manufacturer of every one board we sell for Rp 29 thousand from the usual price of about Rp 27 thousand" said Farid as reported by Nusadaily.com group Javasatu.com.
Dibeberkan Farid, previously could produce up to 6 kuintal soybeans every day, but currently only able to produce raw materials about 4.5 kuintal soybeans.
Similarly, added the producer of tempeh tofu from Sepande, Karlim who admitted that if there is an increase in the price of soybeans, he reaped a little profit.
"Can be profitable but thin, hopefully the government can find a solution to the occurrence of rising soybean prices. We hope the price can go down, if it can be below Rp 7 thousand perkilonya" he asked. (ND/JS)
