Javasatu, Malang – Malang City Police Chief, Police Commissioner Leonardus Simarmata inspects the facility and reviews the readiness of the COVID-19 patient isolation house located in Kampung Tangguh Semeru, RW 04, Sukun District, Malang City.
He said the Covid 19 isolation house, only as a temporary transit place for Patients Without Symptoms (OTG) and who are still young.
"As for patients who need further treatment, they will be taken to a referral hospital," he explained, Thursday (07/01/2021).
In addition to conducting a review, it will immediately send medicines and vitamins to the surrounding residents. Given that, the area has already entered the red zone of covid-19.
"Because the karang besuki sub-district of Sukun has entered the red zone, it will soon be sent supplies of medicines and vitamins, to meet the needs of covid-19 patients in the region," he explained.
On that occasion, it also asked the surrounding health center to participate in helping to provide medicines and vitamins for covid-19 patients.
"Puskesmas can also provide medicines and vitamins, for Covid 19 patients in Karang Besuki Village," he added.
The former Waka Polrestabes Surabaya still urges the public to stick to health protocols in accordance with the government's recommendations.
"Keep in mind, the covid-19 pandemic in malang city area is not over. We ask the public to stick to 3M in accordance with the government's recommendations, namely using masks, washing hands with soap, and keeping distance," he said. (ND/JS)
